Copernicus data, put to work for Romania.
Three European Earth-observation services — atmosphere, climate and land — brought closer to Romania’s institutions, researchers and citizens through a single point of access, support and collaboration.
The national collaboration services
Each National Collaboration Programme (NCP) connects Romania’s community to one of the operational Copernicus services. Shared identity, distinct missions.
Air quality, atmospheric composition and solar radiation
CAMS RO streamlines access to air-quality forecasts and reanalyses, greenhouse gases and aerosols, supporting Romania’s environmental and public-health authorities.
- Daily national air-quality forecasts
- Pollutant data: PM2.5, PM10, O₃, NO₂
- Indicators for public health and solar energy
Climate projections, indicators and adaptation
C3S RO provides access to climate projections, essential indicators and change scenarios, supporting adaptation planning at local and national level.
- Climate projections for SSP/RCP scenarios
- Essential climate indicators (temperature, precipitation)
- Support for adaptation and resilience strategies
Land cover, vegetation and water
CLMS RO delivers land-cover and land-use maps, vegetation indices and water monitoring, for spatial planning and resource management.
- Land-cover layers (CORINE, high-resolution)
- Vegetation and crop monitoring
- Water and wetland mapping
